Live elephant in stands at Port Elizabeth

Its Ivory Coast versus Portugal and Kolo Toure is down near the corner flag with cramps (and not for the last time). ESPN has a few options here for broadcast: show more GolTV-esque slow-emotion replays, show the coaches, continue showing Toure on the ground, or pan the stands and show all the crazed and energized fans. And then we saw the elephant:

So many questions here:

• Was his suit searched for security reasons?
• Did he wear it to the stadium? Or all the way from the Ivory Coast?
• Is it even possible to see out those eye holes?
• Is it a distant cousin of Max Rebo of intergalactic musical fame?
  
• Not as related, but can anyone figure out how to not over hit crosses with the Jubulani? Geez!
