Throwback Thursday
Sorry I missed it last week, but here he is for you, Glenn Hoddle. Hoddle was a tremendously talented young midfielder for Spurs from 1975-1987 before moving to Arsene Wenger's Monaco. He is recognized by the National Football Museum Hall of Fame for his "sublime balance and close control, unrivalled passing and vision and extraordinary shooting ability, both from open play and set pieces." Arguably one of the greatest English midfielders of his time, Hoddle now is running an academy in Spain for young players released by their clubs.
